PARTNERS is an annual magazine about relationships. Each issue begins with a single question as its point of departure, bringing together the many voices that emerge from it. Issue #04 asks: “What do you follow?” Featuring contributions from 22 people working across diverse fields—including the artist Mark Manders, photographers Nobuyoshi Araki and Nigel Shafran, and anthropologist Tim Ingold—the issue explores what each of them is following. Gathered here are records of ways of seeing shaped through the quotidian, from whose images relationships gradually nurtured over time come into view.

For the third issue of PARTNERS magazine, we asked 33 people from around the world a simple question: Why be together? The issue will be shipped in late August.
